This week the 8th graders will spend learning time reviewing angles and angle relationships. The seventh graders will continue with building their vocabulary in the "language of algebra". They will simplify algebraic expressions by combining like terms and using the distributive property.
Lastly, I am continuing weekly Khan connection by giving topic students should consider for the weekly 6000 points on Khan. These topics will help the students with the content we are studying this week. Use the following search terms to find out what content we are studying this week.

Math Week 5-8-17
Hello all!
Congratulations to both 8th grade classes for making their 30 "yes" goal! Way to work as an ensemble. We will celebrate on Monday 5-8-17!
This week the 8th graders will spend learning time reviewing area and volume. We will introduce how to find the the volume of a cone and sphere! The seventh graders will continue with building their vocabulary in the "language of algebra". They will simplify algebraic expressions by combining like terms and using the distributive property.
