Math Week 5-29-17
Hello all,
This week the 7th graders will review area and volume, probability, and proportions as we get ready to take the end-of-year Math NWEA test. General education students will begin math testing this Friday and finish next week on Tuesday. As for 8th grade, we will meet for math briefly on Thursday this week, but they will spend the majority of their time this week in social studies and science.

Math week 5-22-17
Hello all!
This week the 8th grade review Pythagorean Theorem and practices with pairs of simultaneous linear equations. NWEA Math test will be Wednesday and Thursday. 7th graders will only meet one time and continue thinking about writing and using expressions to model world phenomena with the language of algebra.

Free Suit!
The 2017 Project Gentlemen Experience will be held Saturday, May 27 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago at 8AM. The Project Gentlemen Experience is comprised of an 8-hour day filled with guest speakers, interactive workshops, higher-education vendors, food and culminates with students being able to shop for their graduation outfit in our official department store. Each student has the opportunity to leave with at least 1 suit, dress shirt, necktie and pair of shoes all based upon available inventory. We also offer on-site grooming, barbering and manicuring services to more than 50 young men who are present. Registration is on a first-come, first served basis and must be completed online at www.iamagentleman.org.I have also attached an event flyer for this event that can be shared with the principals as well.
