ALL: I hope everyone had a great day celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
ALL: Second quarter grade cut-off for Mr. Albrecht is 1-28-20 by the end of the day. I will not accept any late, bonus, make-up, or redo work after that for the second quarter.
7th grade: We continue to work with circles. Last week almost everyone did very well on our Kahoot at the end of the week. This week we will find the area of circles.
8th grade: What is a relationship is linear but not directly proportional? How do we find slope? How can we think about that relationship?

Math Week 1-6-20
7th Grade: Will review constant of proportionality in all its representations--table, graph, story, and equation. Then it is on to circles. Key vocabulary to learn: diameter, radius, circumference, pi.
8th grade: We Will review constant of proportionality from 7th grade in all its representations--table, graph, story, and equation. We will look at how this relates to our study of slope from before break. We will end the week with a vocabulary review. Check out the list here. It is daunting!
