Meet Ms. Hedstrom!

Hello students and families of Ray!

My name is Olivia Hedstrom, and I am very excited to be joining Mr. Albrecht’s math classroom at Ray as a resident teacher this spring. I am currently a graduate student pursuing my Masters in teaching at the University of Chicago. I am planning to graduate this spring and become a full-time teacher in Chicago Public Schools.

I am originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Chicago in 2011 to attend Loyola University, and I have lived here ever since. I have taught math in every grade from 5th to 10th grade on every side of the city. I am looking forward to getting to teach and learn with and from all of you this year.
