Math Week 10-5-15
7th Grade: We will continue working with ratio and proportion. Specifically this week we will use unit rates to convert between measurement units (example: feet to yards, gallons to quarts, meters to centimeters, etc.). Make sure your child knows the conversions that we took notes on in class.

8th Grade: This week we continue with exponents and how exponents are used in solving tasks in algebra. We have practiced with Product of Powers and Quotient of Powers rules. At the end of last week we started Power to a Power rule. This week we look at how to use negative exponents.
