Health and Safety Protocols
To protect the health of our students and staff, all CPS elementary sports programs will adhere to public health and safety protocols, as described in the Elementary SCORE! Sports Guidelines, and the Focus on Fitness Guidelines, which have been approved by CPS and City of Chicago Health Officials.
All Focus on Fitness activities will be conducted on school grounds, and in-person and virtual learners will be placed in separate, fixed pods. Individual pods will be restricted to 20 people or less (a maximum of 19 students and one coach). Once the pods are fixed, no new students may be added. If a student drops out of the program for any reason, the pod will be reduced by that number.
Prior to each Focus on Fitness session, parents must complete the CPS Health Screener for their student in order for them to be allowed at practice.
