Hello!
Here is what will be going on in the classroom this week...
1. 7th Graders on Monday had a performance task where they looked at paintings from some of the worlds best artists and checked to see if the painting was proportional. The rest of the week will be focused on real world applications of proportions. The class will then shift our focus over to finding the constant in a table and graph.
2. 8th Graders will be reviewing ratios and proportions, as well as looking at graphs and tables to find the constant or unit rate. This will set us up to learn about different types of graphs, slope and how to find a linear equation looking at the graph.
