Something to think about

A lot of 7th graders said the unknown angle in this picture measured 75 degrees. Here is a topic to talk about: Why can't the unknown measure be 75 degrees?

Office Hours Reminder

Hi all,

Just a reminder that office hours are available!

What are office hours?
  • a time to get individual help from a teacher
  • we use JamBoard: an online dry erase board with post-its for chatting!
  • we can screenshot examples and questions and work through them together
Mr. Albrecht is available for  to schedule office hours each day from 1:15 to 3:00. If you really cannot meet during that time, both Mr. Albrecht and Ms. Hedstrom will figure out a time to meet with you. Just email one of us.

Students will have Thursdays to work on weekly assignments and Khan Academy Homework. Mr. Albrecht or Ms. Hedstrom will share a Google Meet link in Google Classroom each day (it will show up in the header bar near the top left corner a few minutes before the start of class). This week we will be practicing more with angle relationships in 7th grade and using the Pythagorean Theorem in 8th grade. We will continue to review online meeting norms and what assigned work will look like.
