Math Week 5-16-16

7th: This week we continue working with angle relationships. Students are expected to know and identify complementary, supplementary, adjacent, and vertical angles. Students will also learn about triangles and special angle relationships involving triangles. Students should memorize that the sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 180 degrees.

8th: This week we continue working with angle relationships. Students are expected to know and identify complementary, supplementary, corresponding, adjacent, and vertical angles. Students will continue to learn about angle relationships that happen when two parallel lines are intersected by a transversal. Students will also learn about triangles and special angle relationships involving triangles. Students should memorize that the sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 180 degrees. At the end of the week, students will investigate linear relationships represented multiple ways (graph, equation, table).
