7th Loyola: We take what we have learned about concept of slope and continue looking at how to graph an equation in y=mx+b form and understand how the slope in the equation is also the slope of the graphed line.
7th Chicago: We practice with converting between fractions and percent. We develop a deeper understanding of percent as per 100.We start finding the percent of a given number. Nice video from Virtual Nerd on percent proportions.
8th DePaul: We take what we have learned about concept of slope and continue looking at how to graph an equation in y=mx+b form and understand how the slope in the equation is also the slope of the graphed line.
8th UIC: We continue to build and solve equations in one variable. Nice article here about why. Specifically this week we look at solving equations with a variable on both sides of the equal sign.
