Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) is an annual one-day symposium for girls in grades 6-8 to learn about future career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
EYH provides middle school girls with a glimpse into the exciting world of STEM. Girls can engage in hands-on workshops led by Chicago area STEM professionals in industry and academia. Additionally, they will have an opportunity to meet female role models in STEM and get answers to any questions they have about STEM careers. During the symposium, parents and educators can also attend a specialty program to hear about ways of supporting their daughters and students in STEM careers.
