7th Loyola: We take what we have learned about concept of slope and continue to practice finding slope from a graph and from 2-points on a line. We also prove that any two points on a linear line will produce the same value of slope.
7th Chicago: We practice with measurement conversion. We then look at test of proportionality in relationships. We finish the week with a beginning understanding of percent.
8th DePaul: We take what we have learned about concept of slope and continue to practice finding slope from a graph and from 2-points on a line. We also prove that any two points on a linear line will produce the same value of slope.
8th UIC: We continue to build and solve equations in one variable. Nice article here about why.
