Math Week 10-29-18

Announcements!
  • No school this Friday, November 2, 2018. Teacher Professional Development day.
  • Mr. Albrecht is not accepting any make-up, bonus, or late work for quarter 1 after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018
7th Loyola: We take what we have learned about concept of slope and continue prove that any two points on a linear line will produce the same value of slope. We also start looking at how to graph an equation in y=mx+b form and understand how the slope in the equation is also the slope of the graph line.

7th Chicago: We practice with converting between fractions and percent. We develop a deeper understanding of percent as per 100.

8th DePaul: We take what we have learned about concept of slope and continue prove that any two points on a linear line will produce the same value of slope. We also start looking at how to graph an equation in y=mx+b form and understand how the slope in the equation is also the slope of the graph line.

8th UIC: We continue to build and solve equations in one variable. Nice article here about why.
